Naidu to axe his loyalists in cabinet reshuffle?

In all probability, Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is going to reshuffle his cabinet in the next week, according to sources in the Telugu Desam Party.

While it is certain that Naidu is going to induct his son Nara Lokesh Babu into the cabinet, the surprising talk going on in the party is that he may sack some of his most loyalists, who have apparently become troublesome for other leaders in their respective constituencies.

One such person is K Achen Naidu, brother of former MP K Yerran Naidu, a trusted lieutenant of Chandrababu Naidu.

According to party sources, Achen has become a trouble for party leaders like his own nephew K Rammohan Naidu in Srikakulam because of his aggressive approach. He was also not getting along well with other seniors like Kala Venkat Rao and Gouthu Shyam Sunder Sivaji.

Former assembly speaker and TDP’s polit bureau member Pratibha Bharathi also recently has reportedly complained against minister’s attitude to the notice of the Chief Minister at party’s coordination committee meeting. Hence, he has decided to sack Achen, say sources.

Another minister is K Narayana. But since, there have been several complaints against Narayana from the other cabinet colleagues, Naidu decided to drop him and make him the chairman of APCRDA with cabinet rank.

The other loyalists who are likely to face the axe are: Kimidi Mrunalini and Ganta Srinivasa Rao, say the sources.
