Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu appears to have become terribly frustrated with the tremendous response being received by his arch rival YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to his padayatra in Krishna district.
On Monday, Naidu described YSR Congress party as a fake political party, which is trying to fool the people with fake photographs and fake videos.
“Everything is fake with regard to this party. Jagan’s politicking itself is totally fake,” Naidu said, speaking at the TDP coordination committee meeting at Amaravati.
Apparently, Naidu was shocked by the photographs and videos released by YSR Congress party on the sea of humanity witnessed at the rally of Jagan as he entered Vijayawada crossing Kanakadurgamma vaaradhi.
The visuals showed that the entire bridge over River Krishna was blocked with the people welcoming Jagan into Vijayawada.
It appears the party leaders who briefed Naidu on the mobilisation of crowds to Jagan’s rally told him that the video and the pictures were morphed to over-project the crowds.
If Naidu was not so convinced of the people’s response to Jagan’s padayatra, he should have got the reports form his intelligence wing and also the regular police.
The TDP chief alleged that the YSRC was making false propaganda against the TDP government.
“The fact is that we have achieved tremendous progress in the last four years. We need to take our achievements into the people more strongly,” he told the party leaders.
