Naidu Doesn't Like To Listen To Facts

Telugu Desam Party MP from Narasaraopet Rayapati Sambasiva Rao always like to call spade a spade. He doesn’t mince words in criticising people, even it is his own party boss N Chandrababu Naidu.

Like his counterpart from Anantapur J C Diwakar Reddy, Rayapati too makes sharp comments against Naidu, but can get away with it because of his caste and money factors.

On Tuesday, Rayapati made an interesting comment against Naidu. He said the chief minister does not relish listening to bitter facts, when somebody brings them to his notice.

“He doesn’t like to hear about unsavoury developments, if we take them to his notice. For example, the railway board authorities in the Centre have been deliberately dodging on granting railway zone to Andhra Pradesh as per the AP Reorganisation Act. If we make a complaint to Naidu on this, he shouts at us, rather than solving the issue,” Rayapati said.

The MP participated in the meeting of the Railway Board, but expressed serious dissatisfaction over the attitude of the authorities.

“They think they are more powerful than Prime Minister. They care a damn for the recommendations of the MPs. What for are we here? Just to have breakfast and tea?” he asked.

He had asked for a few railway projects, but the officials turned them down.

“There is no point in bringing it to the notice of the chief minister, because he doesn’t like to listen to complaints. Yet, I will not stop raising my voice against injustice to the state,” Rayapati said.
