Modi Doesn't Want To Miss Jagan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems to be very particular to have AP chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy around.

Though the yellow media in the state has been giving hype to Narendra Modi’s hand shake with Chandrababu Naidu in Delhi, it has no such significance as they claim.

Narendra Modi shook hands with everyone who attended the national meeting on Azaadi Ka Amrut and his hand shake with Naidu is not going to change the fortunes of the TDP in the state in the 2024 general elections.

There were 259 invitees at the meeting, which was organised by the Central government and addressed by the Prime Minister.

Chandrababu Naidu was one of them as Narendra Modi went around shaking hands.

But, look at the NITI Aayog meeting held the next day in Delhi where Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, besides others were present.

The NITI Aayog hosted lunch for the invitees and the Prime Minister joined them, which went on for one hour.

The Prime Minister’s table had one of the guests including Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot and Assom chief minister Himanth Biswas Sarma.

The Prime Minister did not leave Jagan Mohan Reddy at the lunch and that gives what sort of importance that Narendra Modi is giving to Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Moreover, at the end of the meeting in the evening, there was a photo session in which Jagan Mohan Reddy was seen standing behind Narendra Modi.

Against all these facts, the yellow media gives greater hype to a two-minute hand shake rather than sitting together for one hour over lunch.
