Lashing out at Chiranjeevi and Dasari Narayana Rao for their demands of including the Kapus in BC list, Minister Narayana said that neither Chiranjeevi nor Dasari did anything for the welfare of the Kapus.
In a way, what Narayana said was true. Chiru and Dasari always thrived on the support of their community but it is highly debatable whether they did anything for their community at all.
When Chiranjeevi launched Praja Rajyam and contested from his hometown Palakollu, he faced a humiliating defeat there. The people felt that he had done absolutely nothing for them and gave the mandate to Congress candidate Usha Rani.
Now, they are asking for the Kapus to be included in the list of BC's because Chiru as a Congressman is perfectly aware that it would put the TDP in a spot of bother.
As for Dasri, he has never contested an election in his life, so he cannot exactly be called a people's representative.
