KCR Sent Rs 200 cr To Defeat Lokesh?

It is true that Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had announced that he would definitely give a “return gift” to Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu

There was a talk that the TRS leaders would even campaign for YSR Congress party in Andhra Pradesh. But when elections were announced finally, the TRS leaders backed out from the campaign, but have confined to only moral support.

There were, however, allegations that KCR was indirectly supporting the YSRC by threatening the Andhra businessmen against supporting the TDP, forcing TDP candidates having interests in Telangana to join the YSRC, blocking the flow of funds to TDP and even extending financial support to YSRC.

Though nothing has been proved yet, the TDP leaders are continuously making the allegations to gain sympathy from the people.

On Saturday, TDP general secretary and party candidate from Mangalagiri constituency Nara Lokesh alleged that KCR had sent big money to Mangalagiri to defeat him.

He told media that KCR sent Rs. 200 crores to Mangalagiri in order to defeat him in the elections. He promised that he will be on the side of farmers who sacrificed their lands to construct new capital Amaravati.

Lokesh asserted that Prime Minister Modi would have to return Gujarat after the general elections.

He criticised that Jaganmohan Reddy was a jailbird and YCP contestant Ramakrishna was a court-bird. He criticised that YSRCP failed to mention about Amaravati in their party's manifesto.
