KCR, Not Secretariat, Should Go To Erragadda!

Telangana Congress leaders on Saturday fired salvos at Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao over his decision to withdraw the FAST Scheme after eight months of controversy.

Speaking at the Assembly media point, senior Congress leader Shabbir Ali said due to inefficiency and lack of administrative skills, the TRS government was pushing the people towards troubles. They also criticized KCR for his blind belief in Vaastu, which is superstitious, unscientific and illogical.

The TPCC vice-president said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao should be sent to Erragadda mental hospital, rather than shifting the present Secretariat to Erragadda.

He pointed out that people of Telangana got the Secretariat and Assembly buildings without spending a single rupee since the heritage buildings were constructed by the erstwhile Nizam rulers centuries ago.

He also pointed out that many leaders ruled the State from the existing Secretariat and none of them felt anything wrong with it.

He described KCR’s move to shift the Secretariat as an attempt to execute the plans of land mafia to take control of prime properties in the State capital.

Another Congress senior leader and MLA Bhatti Vikramarka accused Chief Minister KCR of taking a decision to shift the Secretariat on the basis of bad “Vastu”.

He felt that KCR was being haunted by past bitter memories along with AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who had dethroned N T Rama Rao in the same secretariat. KCR has no right to waste public money for his superstitious beliefs and for his political gains, Bhatti said and warned that the people gave him massive mandate for development, welfare and employment only but not to waste public money according to his whims and fancies.
