Jaipal Reddy Is a Disappointed Soul

Union minister Jaipal Reddy was among the many hopefuls who had assumed that once the T Bill was approved by both houses of the Parliament, a notification would be issued within 10 days and Andhra Pradesh would be split into two separate states.

He had dreamt of leading the state as the chief minister of newly formed Telangana. He also hoped that TRS would merge with the Congress.

But much to the dismay of his ilk, the Centre is taking its time and the Home Ministry has said that the new states will be formed only after three months. So, Jaipal Reddy is said to be very disappointed.

If he decides to contest as an MLA during the forthcoming elections, it will be obvious that he is contending for the CM’s post. However, the Centre is not keen on fielding him as a CM candidate.

Already, there are at least a dozen leaders who are vying for this position. Jaipal Reddy is said to be distraught as his dream of becoming the CM at least once during his lifetime now appears almost unachievable.
