Ustaad Bhagat Singh has finally been declared a disaster. Director Harish Shankar himself confirmed the film’s disappointing box office result.
The film, which carried high expectations before release, failed to perform at the theatres and could not recover its costs.

There has been much discussion about the losses incurred by the producers.
Industry sources initially suggested that the losses, including interest on investments, could be around Rs 80 to 90 crore.
The film still stands as one of the biggest financial setbacks this year. After The Raja Saab, this film is now being considered another major disaster at the box office.
The outcome has surprised many in the industry given the expectations surrounding the project.
UBS is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and stars Pawan Kalyan in the lead. The film is about to stream on OTT from April 16 onwards.
