Anyone closely following the politics in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana would not have failed to observe that YS Jagan, to date, has not given any interview to any Telugu media house, barring Sakshi, of course.
Against this backdrop comes a development which is nothing short of sensational. If things go according to plan, then YS Jagan’s first interview to the Telugu media could be done by ETV and this may happen before the start of his Padayatra which begins on November 6.
Recent political developments regarding YS Jagan have been nothing short of stunning. Not only has he gone and met his arch-enemy Ramoji Rao once again, in a hitherto unseen manner, he has been reaching out to the media heads of various channels, cutting across party and caste affiliations.
If Jagan’s interview with ETV does indeed take place, then it would be a concrete endorsement of the fact that ‘in politics, there are no permanent friends or foes’.
