Looks like YSR Congress party Y S Jaganmohan Reddy does not want to give too much importance to power star and Jana Sena party president Pawan Kalyan, who has been attacking the former for the last couple of days.
While his party leaders including MLA R K Roja and spokesperson Vasireddy Padma went hammer and tongs at Pawan for describing Jagan as corrupt leader and power hungry, the YSRC president has taken the Jana Sena party chief very lightly.
“There is no substance in what he is saying. He will make some hungama for two or three days and then disappear. There is no need to take him seriously,” Jagan told media on Thursday during his padayatra in Anantapur district.
Reacting to Pawan’s visit to Polavaram project site, the YSRC chief said the Jana Sena leader had suddenly chosen to go there only after the YSRC leaders announced their plan to visit Polavaram.
“It is very clear that he is acting according to the script of chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu,” he said.
He challenged Pawan to prove that there were scams during the Y S Rajasekhar Reddy regime.
“If the Congress party during YSR regime was corrupt, why did his brother Chiranjeevi merge his Praja Rajyam Party with it? With what experience had he and his brother floated the political party before 2009 elections?” he asked.
