Former chief secretary IYR Krishna Rao, who was unceremoniously sacked from the post of Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation chairman for making controversial comments against the government on his Facebook page, is getting ready to fire more salvos at chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his government.
While addressing the press conference soon after his removal from the post, Krishna Rao made some strong comments against Naidu and his style of functioning and also hinted that he would expose the misdeeds in the Naidu administration in the coming days.
Some of the issues that he had mentioned are land pooling for Amaravati and construction of capital city. This has created ripples in the TDP circles and curiosity in the media circles.
Sources said when he was the chief secretary, Krishna Rao had opposed the Swiss challenge method adopted by Naidu in the selection of Singapore consortium for the construction of core capital city in Amaravati.
He refused to sign the files related to it. Though Naidu did not force Krishna Rao, he was not happy with the latter. Yet, he thought he would silence Krishna Rao by offering him the Brahmin Corporation chairman post.
But Krishna Rao did not like the way Naidu went ahead with Swiss Challenge method, after he relinquished the CS post. That dissatisfaction was reflected in his Facebook postings.
Apparently, he has the relevant documents of Naidu showing undue favour to Singapore consortium. May be, he will disclose the same in the coming days!
