The BJP and TDP were once again involved in a war of words courtesy of Irrigation Minister, Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao.
Uma recently accused the Center of not releasing adequate funds for the national project Polavaram.
State BJP Secretary Suresh Reddy has given a sharp counter to this now. He blamed the AP government for not submitting their reports/documents in time on the Polavaram project.
“They only send in the requests for their bills and never any break-ups for them,” said one BJP member.
“Pattiseema was never a part of Polavaram project. The Centre considers them to be two different projects. But the Naidu government has included the cost of Pattiseema in Polavaram and wants to be reimbursed. This is not acceptable,” said Suresh Reddy.
There is anguish on the side of the TDP and logic on the side of BJP. How long will this loveless marriage last?
