The declaration of assets by Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his family has become a big debate among the people.
Though there are hardly anybody who believed the figures of assets declared by the family, everybody was surprised how Naidu’s grandson Devansh has become richer than him. In fact, it was the headline of the day in many newspapers.
According to the declarations, the total assets of 18-month old Devansh were Rs 11.57 crore with no liabilities, whereas the assets of Naidu were worth Rs 3.73 crore, while he has loans to the extent of Rs 3.06 crore; indicating that the net worth of Naidu is only Rs 67 lakh.
Where did Devansh get these assets from? It was revealed on Thursday that Naidu’s wife Bhuvaneshwari transferred a residential property in Jubilee Hills worth Rs 9.17 crore to her grandson.
Besides, Lokesh’s father-in-law and senior actor Nandamuri Balakrishna also gifted Rs 2.4 crore to Devansh in the form of fixed deposits in banks. Besides, Devansh also got cash gifts worth Rs 2.31 lakh on his birthday, which were deposited in the banks.
And this made him richer than Naidu!
