Jana Sena Party founder and power star Pawan Kalyan seems to have realized that his popularity graph has been going down with every passing day, because of his inconsistent political strategies.
So, he is trying to attract the people with some interesting predictions kicking up curiosity among them.
At a public meeting at Eluru in West Godavari district on Saturday, Pawan said the country was going to witness major political changes in the coming three years and there would be emergence of new leaders, dynamic leadership and progressive changes in politics.
“The people are vexed with the politics being played by the Delhi rulers across the south. We are going witness welcome changes that would transform the quality of politics,” he said.
He, however, did not explain what these changes would be. Secondly, the elections to Lok Sabha and Andhra Pradesh assembly are due in 2019. So, if changes take place, they would happen in 2019 and why should take three years for the changes?
Pawan is also apparently trying to gain the sympathy of the people by stating that he was facing threat to his life.
He told a rally that he had received information from three people that there would be an attempt on his life shortly and the Telugu Desam Party and YSR Congress party would blame each other for the attack.
At the same time, he said he was not scared of any such attacks. He also said he knew their names and faces but didn't reveal their identity.
On Saturday, TDP president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu said there was no need for Pawan to feel insecure for his life.
“We will protect him. If he has any such complaints, let him bring it to our notice and we shall provide all security to him,” he said and reminded that it was Pawan who had surrendered his gunmen to the government.
