Despite Funky turning out to be a flop, heroine Kayadu Lohar continues to receive promising opportunities in Telugu cinema.
She made her Telugu debut in 2022 with Alluri alongside Sree Vishnu, and interestingly her next straight Telugu release after that was Funky.
Though the film did not perform well at the box office, it has not affected her prospects in the industry.
At present, Kayadu Lohar has signed two new films. The details of these projects are yet to be officially announced, but they are said to offer her good scope for performance.
What works in her favour is that she has already made her presence felt not only in Telugu but also in Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil films, which has helped her gain wider recognition.
She is now reportedly demanding a remuneration of Rs 1 Cr per film. Even after a setback, commanding such a fee reflects the positive buzz around her and the confidence filmmakers have in her screen appeal and future potential.
