Andhra Pradesh, Telangana governor Narasimhan is in Delhi and he will be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh during his stay there.
It is said that the Governor will be presenting a report to the Centre regarding the situation brewing up between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Since the problems post bifurcation have only aggravated, Governor Narasimhan will be requesting Centre’s intervention in the matter.
A lot of issues such as Intermediate Board, water and electricity problems, etc, remain to be sorted out. So, it is said that after speaking to the Chief Secretaries of both the states, Governor Narasimhan has got a review report made to submit to the Centre.
But is the report really there? If yes, what points does it cover remains a suspense. However, since the Centre hasn’t put focus on the issues post bifurcation, will his visit remain a mere ‘courtesy’ call? These are the many questions that are being raised in political circles.
