Ex minister and YSRCP member Mopidevi Venkata Ramana has said that thanks to Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu, the farmers' gold will be auctioned this month end.
He informed that the State Bank of India in Guntur’s Nizampatnam has issued a notification in a newspaper saying that 28 kilos of gold will be auctioned this month end.
He alleged that Chandra Babu had come to power after making false promises regarding loan waivers. Now, that he is in power, he is thinking twice before cheating the farmers, pointed out Mopidevi. Since the loans haven’t been waived, the situation has come to a point where the farmers’ gold is being auctioned, said Mopidevi.
