Chandrababu Naidu of late has been organizing media interactions in which a few select farmers are brought on stage and then made to speak highly of Chandrababu for fulfilling his promise of loan waiver.
Not to be outdone, Jagan Mohan Reddy has organized a similar programme with the difference being that the farmers who spoke here were all highly critical of Naidu for failing to fulfill his promise of loan waiver.
“Thanks to Chandrababu, our loan along with interest has skyrocketed. Where will we find the money to repay the banks? They are sending repeated notices to me,” said one farmer with tears in his eyes.
Another farmer unable to control his aggression said that he would catch hold of the CM by his collar and question him.
Jagan utilized the occasion to criticize Naidu saying that the latter was blowing his own trumpet whereas the reality was something completely different. Thus, as we can see, the poor farmers have unwittingly become tools in the hands of these politicians. When and how will justice be done to them?
