When Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao launched the 2 BHK housing scheme yesterday, the one major person that was missing was Housing Minister of Telangana, Indrakaran Reddy.
He was campaigning for Warangal by-polls. When contacted by the media, Indrakaran Reddy said, “It is a call of duty and I am on the campaign trail. The CM wanted me to be here in Warangal.”
This episode pretty much sums up the state of affairs in Telangana. The government is run only by KCR and his son and the rest of the ministers are merely dummies.
Once he has taken an oath as Minister, Indrakaran Reddy should put people above Party.
Tomorrow, if there is an election and an important meeting related to agriculture at the same time, can we expect the Minister for Agriculture to give priority to the former?
Maybe KCR was afraid of Indrakaran Reddy getting credit for the scheme if he were to be present on the dais along with him.
