Many State government employees residing in Telangana were worried that post the bifurcation of the State, they would be forcibly evacuated from Telangana by the TRS.
It was an understandable concern for many of them had built their careers here and settled down here.
Their children go to schools here and their properties are in Telangana. in order to ease the process for them, Chandrababu had raised the retirement age from 58 to 60 in Andhra Pradesh.
Suddenly, the tables have turned and all the employees are making a beeline to get postings in Andhra Pradesh. What is interesting to see is that even Telangana employees who have Andhra roots are asking for postings in Andhra.
Some of the reasons they are giving are: My great grandfather is from Andhra and I want to settle down in his village after retirement, I am fond of Andhra and people there are like my family etc.
These very people who had participated in the Telangana agitation with such gusto had also joined their kids in educational institutions in Vijayawada so that their studies would not be hampered. What else can we say about these people?
