Did Rajaiah Shoot A Curt Letter To KCR?

Okay, the latest story in political lobbies is that ousted health minister Rajaiah had written a strongly-worded letter to KCR. Apparently, that was the triggering factor for KCR to throw him out of his Cabinet.

Well, as per the stories floating around, the summary of the letter is indeed interesting. It is being said that Rajaiah had mentioned that Chief Minister KCR had gone overboard with his response to Swine Flu cases and suggested that such outbursts would adversely impact the brand image of Hyderabad.

Rajaiah said he went about his work silently based on KCR’s comments in media. However, he opined that this resulted in people getting panicked and rushing to hospitals which in turn helped hospitals make money.

The ex health minister also pointed out that since the government had included swine flu under Arogyasri, people’s fear helped the corporate hospitals.

So, it is being said that KCR was furious after receiving the letter and immediately replaced Rajaih with Kadiyam Srihari on Sunday. It is said that there wouldn’t have been any changes to the Cabinet till the Budget session, if not for the letter.

Well, no matter what he had written in the letter, after losing his post, Rajaiah said that KCR was like a father figure to him. However, he reiterated that he did not do any wrong in his capacity as the health minister.
