Telangana Rashtra Samithi MP from Peddapalli Balka Suman, who landed in deep trouble in connection with a sex scandal in Karimnagar, got a big relief with the police giving him a clean chit on Friday and saying that he was trapped in the case by some people to fleece him for money.
On Thursday, two self-proclaimed women journalists, backed by two journalists, lodged a complaint with the Prime Minister’s Office, alleging that the MP had sexually exploited them.
They alleged that the Telangana police refused to take action against Suman despite lodging a police complaint. They submitted a set of photographs showing the girls in intimate poses with the MP.
The TRS MP lodged a counter complaint against the two women and two advocates that they had trespassed into his residence in the Banjara Hills area of Hyderabad which triggered an altercation. He alleged that they were trying to blackmail him.
The police, who swung into action and made inquiries, found that the complaint was false and that the photographs were morphed.
“In fact, the pictures belonged to Suman and his wife. They conveniently morphed them replacing his wife’s photos with the alleged women journalists and started blackmailing the MP,” the police said.
It was revealed that the women were already facing other cases in Karimnagar. They are likely be arrested soon.
