New Delhi: As Mamata Banerjee goes about nurturing her national ambitions with protests in Delhi and attacks on Modi, she has also started taking Hindi lessons to reach out to a wider audience.
Since she is yet to master the language, Banerjee often ends up inadvertently using Bengali words while speaking Hindi.
She did so more than once during the press meet with Rahul Gandhi last week, much to the amusement of the media here.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had shared a simple meal with party's boothlevel workers during his recent visit to his constituency Varanasi.
Pictures of Modi sharing a tiffin with UP BJP unit chief Keshav Prasad Maurya and others were carried in several vernacular papers.
It emerged that the tiffin had chapatis, mix veg and yellow-dal khichdi.
