The BJP leadership in Delhi has no faith in two regional leaders in the country and is not ready for alliance with them, come what may.
The two leaders have lost the confidence of the BJP leadership, particularly Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, whose word is final in the saffron party.
The two are – Nara Chandrababu Naidu of the TDP in Andhra Pradesh and Nitish Kumar of Janata Dal (United) from Bihar.
These two leaders have aligned with the BJP in the past and have dumped the party at a crucial time.
Both the leaders have showered praises on BJP while in alliance and hurled abuses once they broke the alliance.
The BJP leadership branded and called these two leaders as the country’s most untrustworthy leaders.
The BJP leadership is of the opinion that a trustworthy enemy is better than these two unreliable friends.
Naidu might move earth and heaven to have a truce with the BJP once again as he is fighting his last battle in Andhra Pradesh.
Naidu had planted his men in the BJP to beat drums for him and lobby for him ahead of the 2024 election.
However, Modi and Shah are said to be unwilling to take Naidu’s devious hand considering him a treacherous leader.
So, all that Naidu has is to go with the Jana Sena and the two Left parties, while the BJP is likely to go alone.
Sources say that BJP would also consider Pawan Kalyan as deceitful and dishonest with the political partners.
Given the political developments taking shape in AP, the BJP might tag Pawan Kalyan too along with Nitish and Naidu as the most deceitful and undependable.
