It is indeed rare for those in the Opposition to lend the ruling Party a helping hand particularly at the Central level.
But in recent times, two former Ministers of the UPA have shown a positive attitude towards the Modi regime much to the dismay of the Congress Party. They are Shashi Tharoor and Jairam Ramesh.
While Shahsi Tharoor has spoken well of Modi and been an active participant in Modi’s ‘Swacch Bharat’ campaign, Jairam Ramesh on the other hand is helping Modi out with the complications of the ‘AP Re-Organization’ Bill.
These two politicians have put aside the Party differences and come out with a helping hand as they believe personally in Modi! That is why Modi is different!
He is able to get even hard-core Congress loyalists to lend him a helping hand, quite a commendable feat indeed!
