Strange are the ways of Tollywood actor-producer and part-time politician Bandla Ganesh.
After keeping silent for over two years, he is back into action with his political tweets, indicating that he is getting back into active politics.
But what is strange on the part of Bandla Ganesh is his inconsistency in his political stance.
Before 2018 elections, he was very active in the Congress party and used to be a regular visitor to Gandhi Bhavan.
After the Congress failed to come to power in Telangana, he withdrew from active politics – of course, he used to pick up quarrels with YSR Congress party general secretary V Vijay Sai Reddy on social media.
Not long ago, Bandla even showered praises on Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, creating a confusion among the people as to what he is up to.
In the last few months, he has been indicating that he would be back into the Congress politics.
Last month, Bandla took part in the People's March Padayatra organised by Telangana Congress Legislature Party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
He tweeted: 'Anna I am coming' and met Bhatti the following day.
He declared that "The toophan is on the way to Telangana from Karnataka. It will also hit Delhi after Telangana. We will unfurl the party flag in Delhi too," he said, adding that the Congress party talks less and work more.
Bandla announced that he was always there for the Congress party and make efforts to bring it back into power.
But on Tuesday, Bandla sprang a surprise by lavishing praises on Telugu Desam Party general secretary Nara Lokesh, who completed 2,000 km of padayatra.
“I really thought you would not do padayatra even for 200 km and expected that you would withdraw your padayatra on one pretext or the other,” he said.
Stating that Lokesh had proved him wrong, Bandla said he was extremely happy that the former had crossed the milestone of 2,000 km in his padayatra.
“I have no connection whatsoever with your party. But I admire you. All the best Mr Lokesh,” he tweeted.
