During several occasions, actor-turned-politician Babu Mohan had said that he will never leave Telugu Desam Party.
He said that there would no need to leave the party ever. But now, Babu Mohan is leaving TDP to join Telangana Rashtra Samiti. TRS is said to have assured him a ticket already.
In the recent past, quite a few Telangana TDP leaders quit the party to join TRS. KCR has been claiming that he will totally wipe out TDP in Telangana.
This has attracted many ex TDP leaders into the party. It is a well-known fact that KCR played a key role in TDP in the past. Similarly, Babu Mohan too had played an important role in the party and even served as a minister.
However, of late, he has been maintaining a low profile in the party. In fact, he contested during the by-elections in Siddipet and lost badly.
