The TRS government on Wednesday made it clear that there was no question of reimbursing tuition fee for students whose fathers belong to Seemandhra, though the students had their schooling in Hyderabad for the last several years.
According to Minister for Education G Jagadishwar Reddy, the Telangana State government would extend tuition fee reimbursement only to the Telangana students.
“They should prove their nativity by submitting the domicile certificates of their parents,” he asserted.
The minister said that the state government would finalize the nativity of a student based on the parameters and there would not be any interference by others in it.
Stating that old processes and procedures would continue in admissions in the schools and colleges, the minister made it clear that there is no question of paying tuition fee reimbursement to Seemandhra students, who were studying in Hyderabad city and Telangana districts.
The government would take suggestions from the experts and implement the tuition fee reimbursement effectively, he added.
