16 TDP Leaders Looking At BJP in AP?

16 TDP Leaders Looking At BJP in AP?

Chandrababu Naidu is in jail, and there is no guarantee that he will be granted bail.

Although his advocates are petitioning the high court, it appears that the cases against him are strong, leaving little room for Naidu to secure bail.

If he continues to remain incarcerated, the party will face a tough challenge in managing this issue and preparing for the upcoming general election.

Under these circumstances, approximately 16 leaders from the TDP are exploring the BJP as an alternative.

Sources indicate that four leaders from North Andhra, eight leaders from coastal Andhra, and four leaders from Rayalaseema are in contact with BJP leadership.

These TDP leaders have conveyed their willingness to join the BJP to the top party leadership.

The BJP leadership is reportedly awaiting further developments before making any moves.

A significant number of BJP leaders from Delhi are maintaining constant communication with local leaders, excluding those affiliated with Purandheswari.

BJP senior leader C M Ramesh met with BJP president J. P. Nadda in Delhi and briefed him on Chandrababu Naidu's arrest.

Interestingly, Nadda is said to be aware of the issues in Andhra Pradesh.

The BJP's top leadership in Delhi is closely monitoring the developments in the state and is waiting for the right time to make their move.
