YSRCP Linked To 'The Hare And The Tortoise' Story

The election season has enveloped Andhra Pradesh as various parties, including TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP, engage in their activities with great fervor.

TDP leaders have embarked on bus yatras to connect with the public, while Lokesh is leading the Yuvagalam movement. CBN, on the other hand, has announced attractive freebies to entice voters. Jana Sena's chief is already on the roads, leading the Varahi yatra.

The state BJP has intensified its campaign against the YSRC government, even releasing a charge-sheet at the assembly segment levels. The party aims to expose the government's failures at the district and state levels.

However, there seems to be a stark contrast in the campaign preparedness of the YCP. Insiders link this situation to the story of the hare and the tortoise.

Jagan Mohan Reddy appears to believe that people will vote for him due to the welfare schemes he has implemented.

Unfortunately, he is overly reliant on reports from a select few individuals and fails to address the grassroots issues, starting from the Gadapa Gadapaku program.

During the previous general elections, Y S Vijayamma and Y S Sharmila campaigned actively in different regions. Now, Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to carry the entire campaign on his shoulders. So far, no substantial programs have been launched to reach out to the people.

Moreover, there are internal issues within the party, particularly at the district level, where many leaders lack enthusiasm. This situation has instilled fear among party workers, and they doubt whether Jagan can address this issue.

Currently, the party seems limited to social media posts and campaigning. However, it is important to recognize that social media users represent only a fraction of the total voter population, numbering in the lakhs, while reaching millions of actual voters is a formidable challenge.

Jagan must gear up before the race concludes, as suggested by political analysts.
