After several rounds of discussions and multiple proposals, Shruti Haasan has finally been locked in to perform a special song in Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi.
The makers reportedly considered a few names before arriving at a final decision.
The choice had narrowed down to Samyukta Menon and Shruti Haasan, both of whom have strong screen presence and recent popularity.
However, a majority of the team favored Shruti Haasan for this particular number. The team believes she can bring the right energy and appeal that the song demands.
Samyukta Menon, on the other hand, recently gained attention for her performance in the song Jajikaya from Akhanda 2.
Her rising popularity made her a strong contender, and she was seriously considered for the role.
In the end, Shruti Haasan secured the opportunity, and expectations are now high for this special track in Peddi.
