Will Jagan Make Announcement On Capital In Summit?

Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to address the inaugural session of the two-day Global Investment Summit to be held in Visakhapatnam from March 3rd.

Jagan Mohan Reddy had made an announcement in Delhi at an investor's meeting to mobilize them for the Visakhapatnam summit.

He told them that he would soon be moving to Visakhapatnam, which would be the capital of the state. He wanted the investors to come to Visakhapatnam, the future capital of the state.

As the investors are arriving now, the big question is whether Jagan will make an announcement on the capital in the presence of the investors.

The state government is targeting the signing of MoUs in 14 selected sectors during the two-day summit. The government is also offering special incentives to investors starting their business in the state immediately after the summit.

The summit is of great importance to the state government as it is the first such meeting during this government's tenure, in contrast to the three meetings held during the TDP regime.

The meeting is also important to the government as the opposition TDP and the yellow media are blaming the state government on the industrial front.

The TDP is accusing the state government of driving away industries from the state, and the outcome of this summit is thus significant.

It remains to be seen whether Jagan Mohan Reddy would make a statement on the capital at Visakhapatnam, in addition to the investment outcome of the summit.
