Why Was Jayaram's Body Dumped In AP?

The dumping of the body of NRI businessman and Kostal Bank director Chirugupati Jayaram at Nandigama in Krishna district has triggered several suspicions.

Why did Rakesh Reddy, who allegedly killed Jayaram in Hyderabad, bring the dead body all the way to Nandigama, instead of dumping it somewhere in Telangana itself?

YSR Congress party MP V Vijaya Sai Reddy, who does not lose any opportunity to make an aggressive attack on the Telugu Desam Party and its president N Chandrababu Naidu has come out with an answer to this question.

He alleged that AP has become a safe haven for the criminals because Naidu government has no control over law and order and anybody can get away with any crime.

“That is precisely why the killer, with the intention of escaping from the crime, the murdered the NRI businessman in Hyderabad and left the dead body in AP,” he asserted.

Sai Reddy said the accused might have thought that he can somehow manage the AP police and the TDP government will provide its support that's why the accused fearlessly left the body.

Because of the inefficiency of the Andhra police, Jayaram’s wife Padmasri said she had no faith in AP police and hence lodged a complaint with the Hyderabad police. On these comments, AP DGP RP Thakur has transferred the case to the Telangana police.
