Amidst this international emergency caused by Covid 19 pandemic,some groups in Andhra Pradesh with vested interests are busy on the job of creating fake pictures and videos and circulate in social media with an intention to create panic, hurt sentiments, break the unity of people and denigrate the government with hatred.
At the outset of forming the government, it has arrested some miscreants those are creating such things on social media. But surprisingly, in this crisis time, it is going very light on them. Arresting these groups is also part of containment of virus.

#1 Fake News: Kanipakam temple is being used as a quarantine ward and the Covid suspects are moving around in the temple with foot wear
Fact: The guest house that belongs to Kanipakam temple which is away from temple is being used as Quarantine Ward.
#2 Fake News: A family has committed suicide with hunger due to lockdown.
Fact: The pictures are more than a year old. They belong to an incident where a housewife in Karnataka committed suicide after killing her three children for not being able to tolerate the cruelty of her husband.
#3 Fake News: Sri Ramanavami was celebrated in a grand way in Gujarat
Fact: The pictures belong to an old Ramanavami celebration and it can be clearly seen nobody is wearing masks.
#4 Fake News: A prisoner has spit on a cop to spread virus
Fact: The video is very old that belongs to an undertrial prisoner who had spit on a cop for not allowing him to eat the food he got from his home. Even here nobody is wearing masks.
#5 Fake News: The state government is spending the funds given by the central government without giving credit to the latter.
Fact: The central government is directly crediting to the respective accounts. Even this time, it has deposited Rs 500 each to the deserving accounts. The state has announced separate fund.
#6 Fake News: A doctor has verbally attacked at a Covid 19 health center pointing out the present MLA and deliberately praising the former MLA.
Fact: When enquired it was found with evidence that he belongs to TDP and met former minister Ayyanna Patrudu before giving this video byte. The CC footage is also available. The evidences clearly say that it is planted by TDP.
This is high time that the government takes an action on this.
