While Naidu Cries Foul, Central Team Pats Jagan

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu toured the flood hit districts recently where he blamed chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for the failure to handle the disaster.

The TDP chief found fault with the chief minister for not visiting the flood-hit areas, while Jagan ridiculed this and said his visit at this point of time would disturb the relief measures.

Chandrababu Naidu had the history of going and staying with the officials in disasters with his media giving him highest publicity with videos and photographs connected to relief operations.

The officials who are expected to work in the relief operations are tied around Chandrababu Naidu’s visit.

People have seen how Naidu acted in Hudhud and Titli cyclones during his tenure, where victims are not rehabilitated and not given any relief even today.

But, this time, the victims are being paid the compensation, they are rehabilitated in relief camps, the enumeration is in progress.

All this happens when the chief minister sits in his camp office and monitors the relief and rehabilitation works.

Interestingly, the Central team, which visited the flood-hit districts and met the chief minister on Monday, gave a pat on the back of the government for its effective and efficient work.

It is not just the Central team which appreciated the work being done in the flood-hit districts, but National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) advisor Kunal Satyarthi who showered praises on the government in handling the disaster.

For the Central team and the NDMA advisor, the team work of the state government in handling the situation mattered, while its all politics what matters to the TDP chief.
