Vizag Summit – 340 proposals, Rs 30 lakh cr investment

Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy emerged victorious at the Global Investment Summit in Visakhapatnam on Friday when the state government signed 92 MoUs on the first day, for investments worth Rs 11 lakh crore.

The state government had received 340 proposals with an investment of Rs 30 lakh crore at the summit. This will provide employment to over 6 lakh people in the state.

Announcing this achievement at the inaugural session of the summit, Jagan Mohan Reddy looked proud and satisfied.

He achieved all this despite the continued campaign by the yellow party and yellow media that industries are running away from the state, and there is no law and order.

Even when the summit was starting on Friday, the newspapers carried either negative stories or had no place for the summit on the front page.

It was like riding against the tide for Jagan Mohan Reddy, and shockingly to the yellow team, the ride was successful and fruitful.

Jagan Mohan Reddy explained the resources available in the state for investment, the industry-friendly governance, and welcomed the investors to the state.

While stating that India is the fastest-growing nation in the world, Jagan said that AP is a leading state in the country, blessed with abundant natural and human resources.

He listed the ports, airports, road, and rail connectivity available in the state and asserted that AP is the only state that has three industrial corridors in the country.

He further presented the state as strategically located for global investment and international trade.
