Varla Calls Governor A Mula Virat

TDP senior leader Varla Ramaiah is known for controversial talk from the beginning.

His loud mouth and unbreakable voice helps him grab the attention of the media and the people as well.

On Saturday, he made a sarcastic comment on Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan.

Varla Ramaiah led a delegation of the party leaders to the Raj Bhavan to give a complaint against Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, for the latter’s remarks against the State Election Commission.

The Governor was not available for the TDP delegation. Even the Governor’s secretary was also not available.

So, the TDP leaders gave a representation to the Governor’s assistant secretary and left the Raj Bhavan.

On return the TDP leaders interacted with the media where Varla Ramaiah made this comment.

He said “We could not meet the Mula Virat (Governor). We could not meet the Poojari (secretary). We met the Sahaya Poojari (assistant secretary) and gave our representation.”

Varla Ramaiah was upset that the Governor, though available in Raj Bhavan, was not available for them.

We don’t know whether the Governor is available only to the party presidents and not the leaders.

We are representing the main opposition party in the state and the Raj Bhavan doors are not opened, he said.

He wanted the Governor to give them in writing that he would only meet the party presidents and not the leaders.
