TTD okays fact-finding team probe on Sri Vani Trust

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams on Wednesday announced approval of the formation of a fact-finding committee comprising journalists representing Tirupati Press Club to inquire into the allegations against Sri Vani Trust.

A TTD spokesman said the TTD had approved the committee formation in the background of the persistent campaign by vested interests on the affairs of SRIVANI Trust.

He said the TTD allocated funds for the rejuvenation of dilapidated temples in both Telugu states, besides temple building new ones in SC, ST, BC and fishermen areas.

He further said the TTD also gave funds for Dhoopa Deepa rituals in temples of remote areas. Recently TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy had released a white paper on SRIVANI Trust issues.

“As the malicious campaign continued in this connection, the TTD has agreed to offer by Tirupati Press Club to hold an independent Fact Finding Committee for enquiry with hope that true facts surfaces and confusion among devotees is resolved,” the spokesman added.
