Top States In Foreign Investments: AP Nowhere

Andhra Pradesh is missing from the list of top Indian states that attracted the most foreign investment in FY25.

Maharashtra topped the chart with $19.6 billion, followed by Karnataka ($6.62 billion), Delhi ($6 billion), Gujarat ($5.71 billion), Tamil Nadu ($3.71 billion), Haryana ($3.14 billion), and Telangana ($3 billion).

This has raised a big question — where is Andhra Pradesh in all of this?

With nearby states attracting big investments, many people are asking why AP is not on the list. Now, all eyes are on Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who is known for his development focus.

After one year as Chief Minister, not being able to keep the state in the Top list is shocking. Moreover, this is a 'double engine' government with the BJP as part of the Andhra Pradesh government.

To attract global companies, the state needs to improve its infrastructure, speed up clearances, and promote itself better.

It’s time for Andhra Pradesh to step up and make a strong comeback.
