A staunch TDP leader and supporter of Chandrababu Naidu’s family, Akula Venkateswara Rao, is in trouble these days.
In fact, Venkateswara Rao had been in trouble for the past five years and he had openly displayed his fears and protest on some occasions in the past.
Now, with Naidu speaking about a stone pelt at his public meeting in Tirupati the other day, Venkateswara Rao is fearing threat to his life from the TDP chief.
He told media persons in Tirupati that no one had pelted any stone at Naidu’s meeting in Tirupati, as claimed by the TDP chief and his party leaders.
Rao said he had thrown his shirt at Naidu trying to grab his attention, which is now being misrepresented as stone pelting.
Rao, who has been with the TDP and Naidu family for the past three decades, is allegedly cheated by the party top leaders.
He said his 400 square yards land in Jubilee Hills of Hyderabad was grabbed by a TDP leader K L Narayana.
He further said that he had been requesting the TDP chief, his son Lokesh and others in the party to help him get back the land in vain.
He alleged that the TDP chief and his family were supporting the grabber, K L Narayana, at the cost of his life.
“I have made several requests and representations. I met Balakrishna. I met Atchannaidu. I met several top leaders of the party seeking justice. No one helped me,” Rao said.
Now, he said he is getting threatening calls from the TDP leaders and alleged that he has threat to his life from Chandrababu Naidu, Lokesh, Balakrishna and K L Narayana.
It is to be seen how far these allegations are true and why Naidu and others are silent if the land grabbing is true.
