Narasapuram MP K Raghurama Krishnam Raju is likely to be released on bail by Monday evening.
The advocates representing the MP, who was arrested last week by the APCBCID police on charges of sedition, is currently in the Military Hospital, Secunderabad.
The Supreme Court had granted him conditional bail on Friday after looking into his medical report submitted by the military hospital doctors.
The court had directed him not to speak to the media or post any news in the social media after his release from the bail.
Raghurama Krishnam Raju had been working and speaking against the YSR Congress party and Jagan Mohan Reddy government shortly after his election in 2019.
Of late, the MP had been criticising the government and making personal attack on chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The MP had also gone to the extent of criticising the YSR Congress and its Reddy leadership, intending to create some social unrest in the state.
In fact, the CBCID had made sedition charge against the MP and had produced 45 video clippings in support of their case.
While granting him bail, the apex court had directed the MP to keep away from the media and social media till the case is disposed.
This would mean that Raghurama Krishnam Raju would be silent for some time, giving sigh of relief to the state government and the ruling YSR Congress leadership.
