“Nannaa, pandule gumpuluga vasthaayi; Simham single gaa vasthundi..” (Only pigs come in flocks, lion comes alone) – is the famous dialogue of Tamil supertstar Rajinikanth in his blockbuster film “Shivaji”.
Controversial YSR Congress party MP from Narsapuram K Raghurama Krishnam Raju seems to be of the view that he is no lesser than Rajinikanth in Shivaji.
He repeated the same dialogue in response to the en masse attack on him by several YSRC MLAs and leaders including information minister Perni Nani.
“Like pigs, these people have launched an attack on me in the assembly lobbies. Who are these people? After all fellows. Did any of these jokers tell Jagan about me? He knows everything. He doesn’t lie. But all these people who are criticising me are thiefs and looters of public money,” Raju alleged.
He said he had never requested anybody to join the YSR Congress party.
“Last year, Prashant Kishor approached me through a person by name Rishi. He tried to lure me into YSRC with several offerings. Even Vijaya Sai Reddy and Raji Reddy knew about it,” he said.
The MP said he had never gone to Jagan’s house but had met him only in the airport before joining the party.
He made wild allegations against the YSRC MLAs like Kottu Satyanarayana, Karumuri Nageshwara Rao, Grandhi Srinivas and Sriranganath Raju.
Earlier, Perni Nani lashed out at Raghurama Krishnam Raju and sought to know why he had run from pillar to post to get the party tickets.
“If he was so powerful, he should have contested as an independent and won,” he said.
Nani made it clear that all the MLAs and MPs of YSRC had won only on the image of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
“We are as faithful as dogs for Jagan. As long as we are alive, we shall sail with him,” he asserted.
