Greetings poured in for Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on his 76th birthday, from across political and film circles, with several prominent personalities taking to social media to convey their wishes.
Interesting among them is the birthday wish from actor Junior N T Rama Rao (Jr NTR), who shared a heartfelt message on X, addressing Naidu as “Mavayya” (uncle). His post quickly went viral online.
Jr NTR wished Naidu good health, happiness, and strength, expressing hope that the chief minister would continue serving people with the same vision and dedication.
Jr NTR also stated that under Naidu’s leadership, Andhra Pradesh should progress towards development, prosperity, and self-respect.
It may be recalled that Jr NTR has been keeping away from TDP for nearly one-and-a-half decades, after he was used and discarded by Naidu in 2009 assembly elections in combined Andhra Pradesh.
He has never made any attempt to get closer to Naidu family and in fact, there have been social media wars between TDP fans and Jr NTR fans.
The YSR Congress party leaders often fuel these tensions by promoting Jr NTR on their social media posts and public posters.
Another interesting tweet was from megastar Chiranjeevi, who lavished praises on Naidu’s perseverance, vision, and dedication, calling his leadership inspirational.
He said the chief minister’s tireless efforts for the state’s development serve as a guiding force and wished him long life and good health.
Of course, YSRCP president and former chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy also extended greetings in a routine and matter-of-the fact manner, wishing Naidu a long and healthy life.
His sister and Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president Y S Sharmila similarly conveyed her wishes, praying for his well-being.
On the other hand, Naidu’s alliance partner and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan wished the chief minister on his 76th birthday.
He lauded Naidu’s administrative experience and vision, noting his commitment to key goals such as capital development and completion of the Polavaram project.
He said Naidu’s governance is steering the state towards investment growth, generating employment opportunities for youth, and positioning Andhra Pradesh as a leading state across sectors.
