No immediate threat to Naidu govt, say surveys

No immediate threat to Naidu govt, say surveys

It’s been one year since the coalition government came to power in Andhra Pradesh. During this period, comprehensive surveys were conducted to assess the government's functioning, the performance of MLAs, their efforts in strengthening the party, how they are managing their own interests, and the public perception about them.

These surveys were reportedly carried out by the Robin Sharma team and the KK Survey team, both of which played a role in the coalition’s electoral success.

To gauge the public’s opinion on the performance of the coalition leadership, both teams conducted ground-level surveys. It is reported that the KK Survey team gathered up to 10,000 responses per constituency.

While the Robin Sharma team may not have collected opinions on that scale, it still conducted a significant amount of fieldwork. Both reports are expected to be submitted to CM Chandrababu Naidu today or tomorrow.

Both surveys reportedly reflect a generally positive perception of the coalition government stating that there is no immediate threat to the TDP-led coalition government headed by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, as people are still positive about it.

According to an earlier KK Survey, 15 MLAs are facing negative feedback. However, the final report suggests that the situation in most constituencies is relatively stable.

The Robin Sharma team’s report also indicates that the public holds a favourable view of the coalition government's performance in many areas.

However, there is one key point on which both surveys agree: there is a lack of coordination among some coalition leaders, and the government’s good initiatives are not being effectively communicated to the public — either directly or through social media.

Both surveys also offer suggestions on how to mitigate the remaining public dissatisfaction. Once CM Chandrababu receives these reports, it is likely that he will make important decisions based on their findings.
