Modi, Shah ignore Pawan on his birthday!

Wishes and greetings have been pouring in for power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan from all parts, including film industry and political field, on his 51st birthday on Friday.

Apart from the mega family members, including his elder brother Chiranjeevi, all the Tollywood celebrities including actors, directors, producers and technicians extended their best wishes to the power star.

From the political field, too, there were best wishes from Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, his son Nara Lokesh and many other TDP leaders on their social media platforms in their own way.

The Bharatiya Janata Party state president Somu Veerraju, Union minister G Kishan Reddy, party co-incharge of the AP affairs Sunil Deodhar, Rajya Sabha member G V L Narasimha Rao and state BJP vice-president Vishnuvardhan Reddy also posted their greetings on their respective Twitter handles.

While Veerraju wished that the Almighty shower blessings on the JSP chief and make his fight for the people’s welfare a success, GVL called Pawan Kalyan a political power star.

“Best wishes for your upcoming movies and political endeavours,” said Vishnuvardhan Reddy.

However, there were no greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi or Union home minister Amit Shah, who had once given a lot of importance to Pawan Kalyan. They were instrumental in the alliance between Jana Sena and BJP in the post-2019 scenario.

In fact, Pawan Kalyan shared the dais with Modi quite a few times during the 2014 elections. And Modi had even tweeted thanking the actor for supporting the BJP.

He invariably mentioned Pawan Kalyan’s name in his speeches everywhere in the state.

But during Modi’s visit to Bhimavaram for the 125th birth anniversary celebrations of Alluri Sitarama Raju, there was apparently no personal invitation to Pawan Kalyan from the PMO, though his party had received one from Kishan Reddy.

Pawan skipped the meeting, amidst speculation that all is not well between him and the BJP. Still, the state BJP leaders continue to say that they have an alliance with the Jana Sena.
