TDP MP from Vijayawada, Kesineni Nani, has secured the party ticket for his seat in the upcoming general election.
He has announced his intention to contest the Vijayawada Lok Sabha constituency for the third consecutive term.
Without waiting for the party chief N Chandrababu Naidu, the MP has declared his candidacy for a third term in the Lok Sabha.
What's even more surprising is that he has extended the party ticket to Sahifulla Baig, the son of former minister M K Baig, for the Vijayawada West Assembly constituency.
Kesineni stated that no force on Earth could prevent the victory of Baig and himself in the upcoming elections.
He further mentioned that the success of Nara Lokesh's Yuva Galam padayatra in the Vijayawada West Assembly constituency was largely attributed to Baig, Bommasani Subba Rao, and others.
This serves as his response to his rivals in the constituency – Buddha Venkanna and K Nagul Meera – who aligned with Lokesh during the yatra.
It remains to be seen how TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu will respond to this, as he has yet to decide on a candidate for the Vijayawada West Assembly ticket.
Additionally, it is unclear how Naidu will react to Kesineni's declaration of candidacy for the Vijayawada Lok Sabha constituency!
