Kamma Vs Kapu Fight In Rajahmundry

Kamma Vs Kapu Fight In Rajahmundry

The conflict over the Rajahmundry Rural ticket is intensifying day by day, leading to a division between two castes.

Especially in both Godavari districts, there is a noticeable split between TDP and Janasena, resembling a Kapu versus Kamma dynamic. This is why both parties are fiercely competing for the Rajahmundry Rural seat, with tensions running high.

Kandula Durgesh, the Janasena representative for Rajahmundry Rural, commands respect within his own social class and beyond. He also holds the position of Janasena president for the combined East Godavari district. Although he lost in the previous election, he remains steadfast in his support for Pawan Kalyan, gaining confidence.

Over the past five years, he has diligently addressed the concerns of the people of Rajahmundry Rural, earning their trust.

He has decided to contest from there again this time, with Pawan Kalyan's backing during his recent visit to Rajahmundry. Durgesh's supporters welcomed this decision with joy.

However, the incumbent TDP MLA, Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdhury, staunchly refuses to give up his seat to Janasena under any circumstances. He openly warned of a different outcome if the ticket were given to Janasena instead of him.

In this context, Pawan Kalyan proposed to Kandula Durgesh the idea of contesting from Nidadavolu instead.

Durgesh was taken aback by this suggestion and deferred, stating that he would discuss it with his followers. However, Janasena members vehemently oppose Durgesh's relocation from Rajahmundry Rural to Nidadavolu.

Every day, they engage in various forms of protests to secure the Rajahmundry Rural ticket for Kandula Durgesh. They question why the Kammas cannot compromise for the sake of Kapus and why only Kapus should sacrifice everything for them.

If the Rajahmundry Rural ticket is given to Butchayya Chaudhary instead of the Kapu leader Kandula Durgesh, the Kapus warn that they will work towards the defeat of TDP in both Godavari districts.

There is a dispute over the influence of Kamma leaders on the Kapus. Can Chandrababu convince Butchayya Chowdhary for Kandula Durgesh's sake? This is the question being asked.

Regarding CM Jagan's stance, it's notable that he is setting aside leaders from his own social class to allocate tickets to BCs and other social classes.

Let's wait and see who emerges victorious in the battle between Kamma and Kapu in the TDP-Janasena alliance.
