Kamineni, Varla Expose Sujana's Lies!

Kamineni, Varla Expose Sujana's Lies!

Hours after the sensational video footage showing the secret meeting of Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar with former Union minister and BJP MP Sujana Chowdary and former minister Kamineni Srinivas at Park Hyatt hotel in Hyderabad on June 13 came to light, the turncoat BJP MP sought to condemn the same.

Sujana said he had indeed met Kamineni and Nimmagadda on June 13 at his hotel room, but not together. He sought to create an impression that Nimmagadda came to his room after Kamineni left and so, there was no common meeting of the three.

However, Kamineni issued a statement later in the evening, which completely exposed Sujana’s bluff. He admitted that he had met Nimmagadda in the hotel in June 13 and Sujana Chowdary was also present at the meeting.

“What is secret about the meeting, when it is quite open that I am a co-petitioner of Nimmagadda in the SEC removal case? Like Nimmagadda, I have also filed a petition in the Supreme Court with full support of my party high command. So, what is wrong in meeting Ramesh Kumar and why so much fuss on Sujana joining our discussions?” he asked.

He said since Nimmagadda was yet to be reinstated as the SEC, there was nothing to find fault with the meeting of the three.

Surprisingly, the Telugu Desam Party which has nothing to do with the meeting of the trio, sought to defend Nimmagadda.

Senior TDP leader Varla Ramaiah said Nimmagadda had indeed met Sujana Chowdary and Kamineni Srinivas on June 13 to discuss about his case details in the face of relentless persecution he was facing from Jagan Reddy regime.

“There is nothing illegal or unconstitutional on the part of Nimmagadda to meet an MP at a time when he was not in a Constitutional post,” he said.

The TDP politburo member alleged that Jagan was still pursuing a witch-hunt against the former SEC as was evident from how his private movements were also being kept under watch.

The misinterpretation of Nimmagadda’s meeting with the BJP leaders was an attack on privacy and on his right to freedom, he alleged.
