Jana Sena turns a rehabilitation centre!

Jana Sena turns a rehabilitation centre!

The Jana Sena Party headed by power star Pawan Kalyan has been giving an impression that it is fully geared up to fight the coming elections in Andhra Pradesh in alliance with the Telugu Desam Party.

But in reality, the party is facing the bankruptcy of good and strong leaders who can match up to the capacity of the ruling YSR Congress party candidates both in money power and cadre power.

Pawan Kalyan might be under the feeling that the people would vote for his party candidates by looking at his image and charisma, but it will not happen, as was experienced in 2019 elections.

So, he is admitting leaders, who have been away from active politics for quite some time and also those who are a little known personalities in the public.

In a way, the Jana Sena Party is turning into a rehabilitation centre for those who have been discarded by other parties long ago.

For example, former minister and ex-MP Konathala Ramakrishna, who has not been active in politics for the last 10 years.

Though he made an attempt to return to YSR Congress party before 2019, he dropped out at the last minute, as he realised that Jagan doesn’t have a good opinion about him.

There were reports that Jagan was suspicious that it was Konathala who had sabotaged the prospects of his mother Vijayamma in the Lok Sabha elections from Visakhapatnam in 2014.

Now, after being silent for the last five years, Konathala has found the rehabilitation in Jana Sena Party. On Wednesday, he met Pawan Kalyan and sealed his berth for Anakapalle Lok Sabha seat.

So is the case with comedian-villain Pruthvi, better known as 30-year-industry, who was once a staunch follower of Jagan but was discarded following an ugly episode involving him during his tenure at SVBC channel. He, too, has joined Jana Sena and may get the party ticket from a suitable constituency.

Similarly, YSRCP MLA from Guduru assembly constituency Varaprasada Rao, who was denied ticket by the party this time, too, has decided to plunge into Jana Sena. He is lobbying for Tirupati Lok Sabha seat.

Even Kapu leader and former minister Mudragada Padmanabham, who has given himself a lot of hype as the champion of Kapus, has also lost the opportunity to return to politics from YSRCP.

Apparently realising that Mudragada is a spent force who doesn’t have much chances of winning his own seat, Jagan stopped entertaining him. Now, this gentleman is looking up to Jana Sena, hoping for a party ticket either for him or his son.
